However, should it be done with stocks?  Take the idea above that you become a partial owner when you buy the stock.  Keep in mind, you have no control over how the stock performs.  You have no control over the market and how it affects the stock.  And, you have no control over the company&#039;s operations and how they drive the stock price up or down.
